MillikanAlumni Classmates we will miss Class of 1959 Page 1 of 2 To page 2 Return to All Years Page  JAMES ROBERT ANDERSON '59  SUSAN APPLEQUIST '59  EARL ATWOOD '59 ROGER BAUMBECK '59   HERB BODNAR '59 Herb was the first person to die on the 605 freeway in the 1960's GARY BROWN '59 Sue Arnold, Gary's ex wife, attended the Reunion last evening and told us about Gary Brown. Gary died at 2:30 AM, on the morning of the reunion, after losing his battle with cancer. After graduation he became a Baseball Coach at Millikan and later a City Councilman for the City of Avalon on Catalina Island. A Memorial Service was held in Avalon on October 14, 2000, at 1:00 PM. Gary is survived by his daughter, Jenny, and her two sons.  GLENN EDWARD BRUBAKER '59  BONNIE (BUSTER) ORMBERG '59   Steven Phelps Class of 1959 Steve was killed in 1962 by a drunk driver.
