Steve was in airborne B Battery, 2nd Battalion, 19th Artillery, First Cavalry Division, US Army with Ron Eisenhour, Tom Payne and Bill Matthies, also 1966 Millikan High School graduates.. D. Collins class of 1987 Army Sgt. 1st Class "Dies of injuries suffered in a mortar attack May 4, 2005 in Mosul, Iraq." He attended Mark Twain Elementary School, Bancroft Junior High
School and Millikan High School, where he was on the cross-country
team. He also joined the Army Junior ROTC program at Millikan,
then went into the Army Reserve after graduating in 1987.
