Seven more pages of new 2005 photos see below

A lot of people email me from all over the word (literally) asking about The Pike and what it's like today. So, I took my trusty digital camera down and took some pictures. As you can see on subsequent pages, it's not the Old Pike but it is very interesting. They've done a good job of combining some of the old and a lot of the new. They have been respectful of the Old Pike tieing in with the new design.

Below is a photo of the top of the last remaining Looff building which I understand will house the Long Beach History Museum. Meanwhile the archives and offices are in a temporary facility downtown where they still hold public hours.
